Job Description

McLane Global Manufacturing is looking for a Sanitation Tech and is a key member to the MGM team. The primary function of this position is to be responsible for keeping the plant and office clean by following SSOP schedule and completing corresponding documentation. This position holds great opportunity for growth and the ability to move around within this rapidly expanding company. Applicants should be highly motivated and looking for a career in manufacturing with a locally owned business.

Role Responsibilities

· Hands-on oversight of all sanitation practices

· Previous Food Safety and Sanitation experience preferred

· Ensures plant is always in proper sanitary condition

· Evaluates facility sanitary conditions visually and analytically

· Troubleshoots persistent sanitation issues to identify deficiencies in sanitation program or facility/equipment design

· Maintains and updates master cleaning schedule for plant according to GMP

· Maintains and updates equipment inspection schedule to identify any possible issues with sanitation process, ensure all niche areas are properly cleaned and verify there is no excessive wear of equipment components

· Maintains and writes detailed clean up procedures and SSOP’s for all plant equipment

· Conducts clean up inspections and verification/validations of sanitation using swabs and/or samples collected for analysis

· Must comply and adhere to with GMP, food safety, and safety standards at all times

· Ensure sanitation and cleanliness of the packaging area

· Ability to work overtime as required

· All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

· Must possess basic mathematical skills

· Able to perform basic computer tasks

· Floor cleaning equipment operation
