Job Description

McLane Global is looking for a MHS Sales Assistant to join our team. McLane Hunger Solution’s mission is providing Food Banks and Hunger Relief Agencies across the country with the highest quality and most nutritious food at the lowest possible costs.  Our team utilizes McLane’s strength to provide mixed truckloads, kitting options and sourcing from our own manufacturing facilities to drive down costs and eliminate middlemen. The MHS Sales Assistant will support the MHS team with many responsibilities outlined below.

Role Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable – Invoicing & Collections
  • Microsoft D365 – creating UPC, entering menus/formulas, and creating sales orders
  • Assist with acquiring the Bill of Lading and PODs from the carriers
  • Follows all safety procedures in performing work as well as company policies
  • Assist sales managers in other duties as deemed necessary and fitting within the role of sales coordinator
  • Provide logistics and sales support for the MHS team
  • Assist all aspects from booking, loading, document, and B/L instructions, preparing UPS -packages, sample packing, etc.
  • Coordinate and resolve any shipping discrepancies with pickups and/or deliveries

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to sit at a desk/computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to use hands to move objects, utilize tools, or work controls; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds or more.
